In SCR mode (Unicable), the VU+ Uno 4K with 8 frequencies is equal to 8 standard tuners. This makes full use of the 8 tuner FBC technology.
What is a DVB-C FBC Tuner?
A DVB-C FBC Tuner has 8 demodulators.
This is equivalent to a receiver with 8 standard DVB-C tuners. This is a unique 8 tuner in 1 technology. This allows you to watch, stream or record up to 8 channels simultaneously.
With 1 Coax CAI connection it is possible to achieve the same result with this DVB-C FBC Tuner as with 8 separate, standard DVB-C set-top boxes.
